The Rongmei Baptist Association (RBA), established on May 5, 1988, in Mission Hills, Jalukie Town, Peren, Nagaland, is a registered non-profit organization committed to uplifting rural communities through philanthropic activities and aligning with Sustainable Development Goals. The organization adopts a holistic, non-profitable approach to addressing issues of poverty and hunger, without discrimination based on caste, tribe, or race.

  • Society Registration Act, 1860: Ensures RBA operates as a recognized legal entity.
  • FCRA Registration: Permits the organization to legally receive foreign donations, ensuring transparency and compliance with international funds.
  • NGO Darpan Registration: Facilitates government interactions and collaborations.
  • PAN (Permanent Account Number): Essential for financial transactions and income tax filings.
  • TAN (Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number): Required for deducting and collecting tax at source.
  • Income Tax Certification: Confirms compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • 80G Certification: Allows donors to claim tax deductions on donations, encouraging charitable contributions.
  • 12A Certification: Exempts RBA from paying income tax on its income, supporting its non-profit status.
