Who we are
The Rongmei Baptist Association (RBA) approaches its mission with a focus on holistic ministry, addressing both the moral and physical development needs of rural communities in Nagaland. As a purely non-profit organization, RBA is dedicated to uplifting the rural poor, providing support and assistance irrespective of caste, tribe, or race. Central to its mission is the fight against poverty and hunger, with a commitment to ensuring that no one in the community suffers from these hardships. The organization views poverty not only as a lack of basic needs or financial resources but also as a deficiency in knowledge and attitude, which they strive to overcome through education and empowerment initiatives. RBA is also committed to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the communities it serves, working towards long-term, sustainable improvements in living conditions. By addressing the immediate needs of food and basic necessities, as well as focusing on the broader aspects of development and education, RBA’s approach is comprehensive and inclusive, aiming to create a better future for all, free from the grips of poverty and hunger.
