Capacity building is at the heart of our work. Our approach aims to enable sustainable learning and adaptation for improved livelihoods in today’s changing world. We empower individuals and communities to identify their needs, plan effectively, implement solutions, and evaluate their progress.
Recognizing the impact of climate change and the evolving need for new skills, RBA provides diverse training programs through the following focus areas:
1. Skill Development
Training in livestock rearing, mushroom cultivation, organic integrated farming, SALT farming, and organic fertilizer production (IMO, Bokashi).
Established RSETI in collaboration with SBI in Peren, running successfully for over 12 years.
2. Institutional Strengthening
Support for SHGs, Farmers’ Clubs, SHG Federations and Clusters, JLGs, and VDCs.
3. Knowledge Sharing
Exposure visits to model farms.
Collaboration with KVK, ICAR, RSETI, and NABARD for technical inputs.
4. Community-Based Trainers
Training local community members as trainers, especially in remote areas.
5. Sustainable Integrated Farming Center
On-site training and knowledge-sharing at our center.
6. Education Initiatives
Support under SSA and vocational training in various trades for school dropouts and youth.
7. Financial Empowerment
Bank linkages for SHGs and trained youth/women.
Support with project proposals and entrepreneurship.
8. Child Protection
Rescue and support with CHILDLINE India Foundation.
Awareness and advocacy for children’s rights.
Our Team
Our dedicated team consists of skilled professionals, including staff trained in sustainable agriculture at the Allahabad School of Sustainable Agriculture (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology, and Sciences) and the Asian Rural Institute (ARI), Japan.
